Kirklees and Calderdale

We are pleased to be able to offer therapy for all asylum seekers and refugees in Kirklees and Calderdale, but at the moment we don’t have capacity to accept any new referrals apart from people who meet the criteria for the Children and Families Wellbeing Project or Connecting Opportunities project. We will start seeing new clients again as soon as possible.

Currently therapy is being delivered on the phone or via zoom – we are able to provide data top ups if necessary to enable people to participate.

Kirklees health Inequalities

We have been pleased to work with partners in Kirklees to research and address health inequalities in the region. Solace’s part in the project was led by therapist Anthea Kilminster. In this 4 minute film Anthea talks about supporting people into our service.
