HEARTS Helping Every Asylum Seeker Refugee to Settle
Referrals are open for advocacy support and groups including therapy groups. Unfortunately we have closed referrals for one to one therapy and the Bradford therapy group.
Young refugees and asylum seekers aged 15 to 25
In West Yorkshire, Solace works in partnership with The Children’s Society to provide the HEARTS service for young refugees and asylum seekers aged between 15 and 25.
The HEARTS service enables young people to build resilience and improve their well-being by delivering bespoke wrap-around support including
- Support from advocates and keyworkers with practical needs like education, housing, and health (The Children’s Society)
- Group and one-to-one psychological therapy (Solace)
- A weekly youth group providing creative and social activities (Playhouse Youth, The Children’s Society and Solace)

Referrals
For advocacy and youth group or any general support refer to the HEARTS project using this referral form.
For therapeutic support (group only at present) you can refer to Solace directly using this form – Make a Referral directly to Solace. (It is important to note that any referrals to Solace will be shared with The Children’s Society so they can provide wrap around support. Please discuss this with the young person before making a referral.)
