Bradford

Solace has been offering therapeutic services  in Bradford since 2008 in partnership with Bradford Action for Refugees, which is now part of Refugee Action.

Referrals can be made via email to bradfordreferrals@refugee-action.org.uk. A general wellbeing assessment by colleagues at Refugee Action will be made to identify support needs, which may include advocacy, immigration advice, benefits or housing as well as for psycho-social support. A referral may then be made to Solace for the weekly wellbeing group facilitated by Solace’s Pain Management Therapist, Nick Edwards or for 1:1 psychological therapy, which is managed by Solace Lead Therapist Paul Wood.

Refugees in Bradford may also be eligible for our regional Children and Families Wellbeing Project. Please click the links for more information about these projects.

If you are looking to refer a young person aged between 15 and 25 please take a look at our HEARTS project.  A partnership project with The Children’s Society.
